Our Story

Our Roots
Campo Creek Vineyards was founded by William Clarke, a true cowboy at heart whose love for the land and passion for winemaking led him to transform a rugged stretch of ranchland into a thriving vineyard. His hard work, determination, and connection to the land remain the heart of the vineyard, inspiring everything it stands for today.
Situated on a historic 400-acre ranch first established in 1888, Campo Creek Vineyards continues to be owned and operated by the Clarke family, who also raise cattle on the property. The wine reflect the rustic charm and cowboy spirit that Bill embodied. Each bottle offers exceptional quality and value, honoring his legacy with every pour.
About our Vineyard
Nestled in the picturesque mountains of East San Diego County, Campo Creek Vineyards is renowned for its exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Viognier wines. The handcrafted, small-batch wines include estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Viognier, along with Zinfandel sourced from nearby Potrero, each crafted with care to reflect the unique character of the land. Established in 2003, the vineyard has grown to include approximately 10,000 grapevines, making it one of the largest in the region. Here, the vines thrive under Southern California's long, sun-drenched days, producing premium-quality wine grapes that embody the spirit of the mountains.
